Envs 6108-2006 Assignments Assignment #1. 20% Sign up for the weblog invitation you will receive by email. Post your 'finds' during the class. Please be relevant, and brief. No long winded dissertations or mindless copy and paste! Personal observations are most desirable. Pictures are also very good, but not required. Assignment #2 - 10% Very brief written comment/ reaction to your readings for the week. Maximum two pages! Assignment # 2 - 10% - a 3 page proposal for your final presentation. Choose a focus topic, a site, and list of material you believe will be available, such as maps, photographs, literature, illustrations. Assignment #3 - 50% --- Final project, as a Powerpoint [or equivalent] presentation, a CD-ROM with the presentation, and an illustrated paper report on your site and topic. Powerpoint presentations should not be bigger than 10Mbytes. See "Taming Monster Powerpoints" for advice on keeping pictures sizes reasonable.
